Benjamin “Benji” Little is a recently widowed man who is getting back on track with everyday life….dating, working on his passion (music & writing), & now living with his colorful friends from high school. Benji has plans on re-launching their R&B band “Hello to the World” to perform for their 10 year reunion but the complications of living a real "adult" life is making this difficult. How does he deal with meshing his bandmates egos, his crazy ex-in laws making his life a living hell, anxiety & confusion of losing his wife at a young age & keeping the pact his friends made that no matter what happens they will always come together for Sunday Dinner.

MAIN CHARACTERS

Males:

AJ Price- Struggling musical artist who wants his voice to be heard from his peers, they show him the least amount of respect because he can’t keep a “regular” job & is busy chasing his dream as a musical artist along with Benjamin. He is very talented songwriter & singer yet unstable. He is in a relationship with Nicole Whitman (see Female characters) who is forever battling with him about dropping music & pursuing a “real job”.

Leon Brown- The comic relief of the group. In his mind he is USA Today’s #1 Bachelor but does not trust women. Nobody takes Leon seriously because everything is a joke to Leon expect when it comes to his Mall security position which he over exaggerates on a consistent basis but can never prove he goes to work because he is always hanging with his roommates: AJ & Benji. The thought of being alone without his friends leave him afraid so he has lost many potential relationships because of this..

Mike Price- Mike is recently married to Iesha Little the younger sister of his good friend Benji but still wants to live the bachelor life of hanging with the fellas, partying & video games. He loves his wife very much but is irresponsible with money. Mike recently found employment working for a fortune 500 company but still wants to sing in the band even if its behind Iesha’s back. Mike has issues with the mother of his first child and doesn't want anymore children based off the fear of his marriage not working out like his previous relationships.

Theodore “Teddy” Epps- Teddy is the ultimate player/hustler always coming up with ways to create money whether if its legal or not. But never has any women. He still has his eyes on Iesha due to their one night stand shared one night before she met Mike. Teddy & Benjamin do not like each other but stay “social” among friends. Its been 7 years and Teddy has yet to tell his "best friend" he slept with his wife.

Females:

Nicole Whitman- Nicole owns her own bakery, works for a real estate agency and sings when she can via open mic nights, karaoke etc. She doesn't understand why AJ cannot get a “real job” when she has multiple. She loves music but is persistent to relay the message that music is not going to put food on the table. Very intelligent but comes off as whiny at times to her boyfriend and friends.  She has a fiery temper yet the sweetest person among the women.

Charmaine Jenkins- Charmaine does not TRUST any man and doesn't believe in the holidays, religion, forgiveness or hard work. She only agrees to attend the annual gathering of friends mainly for the free drinks and to ridicule every member of the group when she can; unveiling every single secret she has discovered with no remorse. She is the friend everyone loves to hate. She is always in Nicole’s ear to play the field and give up on AJ. She is a true believer that good sex, alcohol & free stuff will solve all problems. Charmaine & Benji dated before meeting his ex-wife and will not let him forget it.

Ashley Little- Ashley is the younger sister of Iesha & Benji and the youngest member of the group. She is in love with the thoughts of love. She loves the fact of gathering everyone around to share what they are thankful for, dinner, very naïve when it comes to dating, falls very hard for every date she has & has a small crush on her brother in law Mike.

Iesha Little Price- Iesha thinks she is 2 months pregnant but is hiding it from Mike until she is “for sure” & doesn't know how Mike will react. She is hard on him about finances and the fact that since they have been married sex has taken a dip in their relationship. She wants to have the ideal family and wants Mike to be more responsible and to step up his game. Mike & Iesha continuously bump heads over family and what roles should take place between a husband and wife. She also knows Teddy has been after her and has kept the secret that they have been intimate in the past. From everyone!

Bonita Reynolds- Ex-girlfriend to Benjamin...very ignorant in her beliefs…shows up when she feels like it and hates the fact Benjamin moved on even though she was the one who broke up with him.  She is still friends with Iesha & Nicole only to be spiteful towards Benjamin. Bonita & Teddy have also slept together and continue as "punishment" to Benji. Only they know; they act rude to each other as a cover-up.
